You can be picked up from Bodrum airport, Bodrum hotel, Bodrum Marina or even at the cruise ship port in Bodrum. Your Bodrum tour guide will hold up a sign with your name on it so you can easily find him/her through the crowd. The tour will take approximately 7 – 8 hours and afterwards we will drive you back to your Bodrum hotel ,Bodrum Marina ,Bodrum airport or cruise ship harbour in Bodrum in Turkey.
On the full day Bodrum Tour first you will be taken to:
Bodrum Castle also known as St Peters Castle and your tour guide will escort you around the site and explain to you the history of the castle in depth, as you explore Bodrum Castle you will also visit the five towers where you will see various different items in each tower. The panoramic view from Bodrum Castle is magnificent you can see all of Bodrum – so bringing your camera is a must! Whilst visiting the castle you will also visit the Glass Wreck Hall. You will also go to visit the Bodrum Underwater Archeology Museum and its here that you will f?nd numerous interesting items that were recovered by turkish and american archaeologists.
After you have taken in the sights and sounds of Bodrum, you will then be given approx one hour free so you can take a stroll at your leisure or relax in the courtyards with some refreshments in the cafe. As lunchtime approaches we will now take you to a Turkish Resturant for your lunch where you can indulge in some authentic turkish cuisine and afterwards there will be a short drive to take you to visit the Old Stone Windmills it is very picturesque with a beautifull view, after you have spent some time there we will the travel a short distance to the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus which is one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the 50m high mausoleum is covered with a ptythonic pyramidal roof that is supported by 36 Ionic columns. And then its on to the ruins of the Myndus Gate where it is possible to trace some of the city’s ancient walls and explore the ruins. To put a end to your tour today it will be to visit the Bodrum theater, which is on the main road uphill from and parallel to the left harbor. After your a day of exploring Bodrum has finished you will then be back to your allocated pick up points.
